Displaying and Resetting the DIC Codes in a C-5 (1997-2004) Corvette
The computer will show two kinds of codes, "current"
and "history,"
designated "C" or "H". A current code indicates a malfunction is
present in the system whose module is displaying data. A history code
indicates a past problem.
| A -Turn the key to the ON position |
| B - Hit reset (5) times |
| C - Hold down the OPTION (4) button while pushing the FUEL (1) FOUR times this will bring up the codes |
| D- Push the Option (4) button (without holding it down) to step thru the codes * |
| E - To clear a code push RESET (6) one more time and hold the RESET (6) button down until you see it flash or hear a beep |
| F - To go to the next code push your RESET (6) button one time. |
| G - Repeat Step D / E / F for each Code you want to Display and Clear |
